More Info
The PiezoWave, also known as shockwave therapy, is a myofascial acoustic compression technique. In other words, sound waves are used to penetrate under the skin to promote and stimulate healing. It has been used in Europe for many years, with thousands of peer-reviewed scientific articles speaking to its effectiveness.
Often times pain will refer from the source of injury. With the patient's feedback, we are able to use the PiezoWave to pinpoint the exact area of injury and stimulate the healing process. Sessions are short, only 5-10 minutes, and most require less than 8 sessions. The best part, there is no resting period required. Patient's are able to return to normal activity immediately following a session.
